If you cannot answer one of them clearly, you do not have a communication problem. You already have a structure problem.
Ownership, who has the right over what has been built.

Value, who receives from what has been built.
Succession, who carries it forward, and when.
Why I wrote the book
For years, the founder's energy is focused on building the business. Then comes the first critical moment, succession, and suddenly we are no longer talking only about the business, but about family and wealth, in the same system, without a clear language.
That is why the essential conversations are postponed, until they become tensions. Globally, only 30% of family businesses make it past this threshold. I wrote Afaceri de familie to make visible what usually stays unsaid, because every act of continuity means more than a company: it means economic stability and meaning passed on.

In the final part, eight entrepreneurial families open up their own stories: about work, sacrifice, roles, continuity and decisions that were never only about business.
